Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL)

With a vision to ‘Cultivate one Million children in India as Neoteric Innovators’, Atal Innovation Mission is establishing Atal Tinkering Laboratories (ATLs) in schools across India. The objective of this scheme is to foster curiosity, creativity, and imagination in young minds and inculcate skills such as design mindset, computational thinking, adaptive learning, physical computing etc.ATL is a workspace where young minds can give shape to their ideas through hands on do-it-yourself mode; and learn innovation skills. Young children will get a chance to work with tools and equipment to understand the concepts of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).

Our school's Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) was established in July 2022, providing a state-of-the-art facility for students to explore innovation and creativity in robotics, electronics, and computer programming. The lab is designed to foster hands-on learning, encouraging students to develop problem-solving skills and think creatively.

Key Activities

Weekly Classes: Students participate in weekly classes, exploring various aspects of robotics, electronics, and computer programming.
School and Inter-School Events: ATL students actively participate in school events and inter-school competitions, showcasing their projects and skills.
Yearly Marathon: The ATL organizes an annual marathon, encouraging students to showcase their projects and innovations.
Hackathons: Yearly hackathons are conducted, providing students with opportunities to develop innovative solutions and collaborate with peers.
Monthly Seminars: Expert mentors from the ATL conduct monthly seminars, guiding students and sharing industry insights.
